This completes the fix of e/backlog#4872 (closed), allowing Trebuchet to be used as Home screen / Launcher

The fix was started in https://gitlab.e.foundation/e/os/android_packages_apps_trebuchet/-/commit/96cab67f9b9cb5be94cf36b85195cdb52d82159b, but the changes in this MR are also needed
