checkpatch: Revert local changes in msm-3.10

Revert the non-upstream changes made to checkpatch.pl on
top of msm-3.10, to allow upstream changes to checkpatch.pl
to be cleanly cherry-picked. The local changes will then be
rebased on top of the upstream changes.
