Appointments don’t show up if details are entered directly on creation

The problem

Appointments don’t show up in the calendar app (Etar) if details are entered directly on creation.

There is at least one other person having the same problem on the forum.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The new appointment should immediately show up after creation (tap on "Fertig" / "Done").

Solutions

Workaround

Installing the newest Etar from F-Droid and using that as my calendar app fixed the problem for me. Also the side issue mentioned in the video (end date being set to the next day when switching off full-day) disappeared.
