Feature request: Long press to give shortcuts, app info, etc
Hello,
After reading the forum thread on improvements to Bliss I remembered my least favourite aspect of bliss, which is that it doesn't include the long-press popup menu - at least not on the Nexus 5 which I'm testing /e/ on.
The only alternative I have to compare to is Android 9 on a Nokia 8, so it's not directly comparable. On this version if I long press an icon in the default launcher (Quickstep) I am given a menu which includes:
- The app's available shortcuts, some of which are dynamic (based on recent activity)
- Long-pressing a shortcut means it can be placed on the screen somewhere independently of the main app icon (though you may think this doesn't fit with the philosophy of Bliss)
- Access to any available widgets, which can be placed on a homescreen (in Bliss this would be in the left-pane I suppose)
- Access to the app info - this is the item I use most from this menu, it reduces several swipes and taps to just one long press and one short tap
Please at least add the last option and the list of available shortcuts.
Thanks :)
