What is the current behavior?
Currently, gesture navigation mode lacks the functionality of arrow keys for cursor movement on the keyboard, limiting user efficiency in text editing tasks.
What is the improved behavior?
- Implement an option within keyboard settings to enable arrow keys for cursor movement in gesture navigation mode.
- Explore the possibility of removing the bottom bar when not in use, or repurposing it for additional keyboard functionalities such as cursor movement.
What does it bring?
It'd make typing and editing text on /e/OS feel smoother and faster. Plus, it could make the screen look nicer, whether by clearing clutter or adding useful keys.
