Too few volume steps for media replay
Summary
I think it would make for a great improvement of /e/OS if it offered a more granular way to control the loudness of replayed media. The default 15-step media volume control oftentimes ends up being too loud or too quiet. This seems to be a common issue over all Android versions and hundreds of people have been complaining about this for years. See Googles Android issue tracker. This might be a chance to shine and implement a highly requested feature that's not been taken seriously by Google so far.
Description
What is the feature?
Significantly increase the amount of available volume steps for media replay. Optionally implement a way for users to alter the amount of steps.
Who will use this new feature?
All users who replay media on their device. Especially those using inbuilt speakers or wired headphones where the workaround via "disable absolute volume" is not usable.
Why these users would like to use this feature?
More granular loudness control provides a more pleasant listening experience and lowers listening fatigue. This is especially important when listening for a long time or in silent environments.
Examples
Samsung implemented a similar feature through the App Samsung Sound Control. It makes it possible to set a userdefined amount of volume steps that is applied system-wide. But even a fixed increase would already be an improvement.
