Fairphone 4 earpiece extremely loud during calls

Summary

During any call, sound from earpiece is so loud that the phone has to be held at least 5 to 15 cm (2 to 6 in) away from my ear not to experience pain. This is at minimum volume and not in loudspeaker mode. Normal (earpiece) mode and loudspeaker mode operate at roughly the same volume. Likely related to #6926 and #6929 (closed).
