Bank App - google play error
- /e/ version: 1.8.1-20230206257879-dumpling
- Device model(s): Oneplus 5T
- Developer mode enabled: yes
- Device rooted: no (I think)
- Trackers blocker enabled: no
Summary
One or two days ago my banking app - ABN Amro released a new update that broke functionality for me. Since this update was installed (App Lounge and Aurora give the same result) the app opens, runs for approx 3 seconds and then pops up with an error message followed by a forced close.
The problem
The latest update of the ABN Amro app no longer seems to be correctly spoofed by microG or /e/ into thinking google services are running.
Steps to reproduce
- Install "ABN Amro" app from the app lounge
- Open the app
You will see the error message pop up after a few seconds
What is the expected correct behavior?
Up until the most recent app-update I was able to use the app without issues with access to 90% of its functionality.

I've attached an android bug report, but as I am not a developer I am not sure if I could have done a better job. Please let me know if you need things in a specific way.

I will continue my efforts to gain access to a previous version of the app. However I have not found success in that yet.
