This ticket is for the enablement of the Wi-Fi display (Miracast) capability for FP3/FP3+
Description
What is the current behavior?
The current behavior is missing a 3 dot menu for searching miracast devices as shown below
What is the improved behavior?
- Make sure you have your Miracast or other wireless display device enabled and visible to other devices
- Go into Settings > Connected Devices > Connection preferences > Cast
- Up right under three-dot menu check "Enable wireless display"
- If you have Cast button as a quick settings shortcut, press it and it should start a dialog saying "Cast screen to device / Searching for devices..."
- Select the device you wish to cast to and connect
- Show cat pictures
What does it bring?
Ability to cast display to non-chromecast devices.

Users will be able to show pictures of their cats using a miracast hdmi dongle or miracast enabled tv while visiting relatives.
Validation
Successfully cast screen of a FP3/FP3+ device to a miracast enabled wireless display.
