Web Calendar Manager - Update UI for enable/disable button
- /e/ version: Android 11 / R 1.7-20230111250687
- Device model(s): Samsung A5 2017 (a5y17lte)
Summary
After a first work in 2021 to have a better consistency of UI through /e/ OS apps, there is still one inconsistency. Here, it's about the enable/disable button you can see in Contact, Message, Clock, Calendar but also in Web Calendar manager. I assume the new graphic charter is the one we see in Message, Clock, Calendar: the enable/disable button is grey or green depending if you set it enabled or disabled.
Description
What is the current behavior?
In Web Calendar Manager, there is enable/disable button for authentication but instead to be green, it is red as illustrated below:
In addition, the shape is not exactly the same. So the shape of the button has to be updated too.
What is the improved behavior?
The button should use the same color as the other places in the OS.
What does it bring?
Consistency through the different app for UI and so better UX
Mock-ups
Just change the colors and the shape of the button
Examples
The users will be more confident with the OS thanks to a better UX
Validation
Open the Web Calendar Manager and check if the enable/disable button for authentication is using the right grey/green color and the right shape
