Screen turns black when phone call is accepted on Teracube 2e
(I know this is a shaky bug report, but the phone is with my mom 500kms away)

Summary
When I (or anybody else) calls her on the phone (provider is German Vodafone, but a different reseller), and she accepts the call, the screen turns black. Interestingly. AnyDesk shows a real call screen at this time, and she can talk without problems. After a while an/or some shaking, the screen shows the call screen.
Can this be an issue with the orientation/movement sensor, in the sense that it "detects" placement of the phone at the ear, and thus the screen is turned off erroneously?
The problem
Just answer the phone call. The problem is that she thought a black screen meant that phone was dead and didn't talk into the phone.
What is the current behavior?
Black screen. Talking and listening still possible, and after some waving of the phone, the screen is restored to the call screen, meaning all is well again.
What is the expected correct behavior?
See call screen immediately after accepting the call.
Technical informations
Relevant logs (adb logcat
)
Sorry, no logs. As I wrote above, the phone is 500kms away.
Relevant screenshots
Via AnyDesk, no issue is visible, but she tells me the screen is black (which I have seen myself earlier when we visited before Christmas).
Solutions
Workaround
Wave the phone.
Possible fixes
As I wrote, maybe an issued with (the interpretation of) the orientiation/movement sensor?
