After upgrade from 1.5-q-dev to 1.6-r-dev: about 400 MB free RAM less
- /e/ version: 1.6-r-dev
- Device model(s): FP3
- Device rooted: yes
Summary
After upgrade from 1.5-q-dev to 1.6-r-dev free RAM is about 400 MB less.
The problem
The free RAM is about 400 MB less after the upgrade. That is a significant drawback when several apps are open.
What is the current behavior?
With only a few apps and a few tabs in browser open app UIs and tabs reload when switching between these. This is slow and often makes browser tabs to loose last state. It is very annoying.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Apps and tabs are still loaded when returning from background.

Possible fixes
Until one of the last q-builds the free RAM was about the same. After some FP3 users complained that their phone was laggy (mine was not) you fixed this issue with the next version (sorry, I don't know which one it was). On my phone booting became much faster and free RAM became about those 400 MB bigger as it has become smaller now. Might this be a regression with switching from Q to R?
