Summary
The fingerprint sensor seems to be always on (always ready to scan). On the stock FP4 Android this isn't the case.
The problem
What is the current behavior?
If i grab up my FP4 and touch lightly the power button without pressing it, than the fingerprint sensor try to scan the fingerprint. Sum times if I'm not fast enough to grab the phone so that it's afterwords possible to unlock the phone with a saved fingerprint (e.g. put it into the other hand), it scans several times and said "too many tries, please try again later.".
Steps to reproduce
Save one or more fingerprints e.g. from your right hand. Put your FP4 on a desk and pick it put with the other hand (where not fingerprints are saved) so that you touch lightly the fingerprint sensor and put the phone into your other hand. With the first touch you will get a vibration feedback
What is the expected correct behavior?
On the stock FP4 Android you have to push the power button first, before the fingerprint scanner starts the scan. Pressing the power button first prevent the the unintentional fingerprint scan.
If it's not a bug, it would be great if there comes a adjustment option to press power button first before fingerprint sensor is active.
