Caller labels incoming calls from SIM2 as SIM1
Caller labels incoming calls from SIM2 as SIM1
Summary
System: XA2 dual sim (H4113) on 0.7-o-2019081820651-dev-pioneer, with 2 sims. SIM1 has provider labeled 'Youfone', SIM2 does not seem to have a label (this one can see when going to the mobile data usage screen or on the sim overview settings page, see attachment ). When a call comes in on SIM2, the phone shows a screen where you can choose to pick up of reject the call. On this screen also the provider label is shown. The issue is that when a call comes in on SIM2, the label of SIM1 is shown. Therefore the user cannot see on which sim the call is coming. Both SIMs work fine (calls are received OK).
Steps to reproduce
Setup system as above, insert two sims. Call to number of sim2, observe the incoming call-screen.
What is the current behavior?
'Name'/label of SIM1 is shown
What is the expected correct behavior?
'Name'/label of SIM2 is shown
Relevant logs and/or screenshots
(Paste any relevant logs - please use code blocks (```) to format console output,
logs, and code as it's very hard to read otherwise.)
(You can use adb logcat
command to capture log of you device, when connected to a computer)
Possible fixes
In my case the label of SIM2 empty, maybe I should try to get the system to get a non-empty name. Possibly this is triggering the wrong label to be selected (code might look for the first non-empty label to display). Maybe the real issue is that the phone doesn't recognise / put a non-empty lable there.
