split-screen feature does not work anymore under v0.18-Q

Summary

After the upgrade to v0.18-Q the split-screen feature is not working anymore. Long-pressing the app-switching key (square button) results in a split square button (see IMG) at the bottom of the screen, but in practice screen is not split. This is a regression compared to previous versions.

Workaround

1. navigate to Settings > System > Buttons
2. choose Recents long press action.
3. select the Split screen option

The functionality will be back again.

Solution

Remove the entries that are not functional in the settings of the Recents long press action option, that is to say:

• Split screen
• Voice search
• Search assistant

The default action for this option becomes: No action.
