opencamera crashes with HDR setting

• /e/ version:
  • e-0.8-p-2020041249359-dev-chiron
  • e-0.9-p-2020062560240-dev-chiron
• Device model: Xiaomi Mi MIX 2
• When it started to occur: from the start with oreo build in december 19th 2019
• Reproducible with the last /e/ version: yes
• Reproducible with LineageOS
  • no issue on Nexus 5 with LineageOS 14.1-20181108-nightly-hammerhead

Summary

When I set HDR setting and take photo with opencamera, application crashed and return to home desktop.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

1. open camera > parameters > HDR photo mode
2. take photo
3. application capturing 3 photos
4. then it exits and return to Desktop home without save it

What is the current behavior?

set hdr setting in opencamera, and take photo. Application crashes

What is the expected correct behavior?

3 photos are assembled and opencamera stil works

Technical informations

• Bug concerns only opencamera (1.47.3) application
• Photo crash when setting is HDR
• Settings > Camera API > Camera2 API : enabled
• What I done to avoid that
  • reset setting opencamera
  • remove storage (storage and cache)
  • wipe art cache
  • wipe cache
• INFO
  • I installed /e/ with bug #476 (closed) where I had to delete 2nd line of META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script to flash rom
  • HDR settings from OpenCamera 1.47.3 f-droid install works ✅ thanks @soerengandalf 👍
