SF: Add details to setDesiredMode trace and log 

Trace/log the display ID, and print the DisplayModeRequest.

Remove a superfluous run-time assertion about display ID mismatch, as it
cannot happen, which I5a74d58b3feb3a71fc3d85393a509af86f1b0274 will make
clearer.
