Trying to open a Contact card (vcard) in "Message" app crashes the "Contacts" app

Someone sent me a Contact card over SMS/MMS.
When I touch this message in the "Message" app, it pops a white error box saying:
"Contacts has stopped

• Open app again
• Mute until device restarts"

Same crashing issue for Contact cards sent by me.
(By selecting "Attach a contact" in the MMS "+" bubble menu.)
