# Address book (Gmail) Authentication failed ## Summary I add a Gmail account, I can sync my emails, my contacts are downloaded but when I do a modification of a contact it doesn't sync modifications, there is a sync error : *Address Book (xxx@gmail.com CQ) Authentication failed (check login credentials)*. But I can't check it as it uses (I guess) my automatic authentication and I cannot edit Google's credentials. ## Steps to reproduce 1- Add a Google Address Book using "Contacts app" (or from Mail or from Users & Accounts). 2- It creates a *xxx@gmail.com (Google)* in Users & Accounts 3- It creates an email account in "Mail" and after a while it sync contacts 4- Edit a contact from phone, wait for it : *Address Book (xxx@gmail.com CQ) Authentication failed (check login credentials)* ## What is the current behavior? Gmail account in contacts doesn't accept updates from phone to server ## What is the expected correct behavior?
