## Why am I seeing a HTTP 501 error Notification?

This error is caused due to the Recently contacted feature of Nextcloud. We are planning to fix this with an update. The complete error message is - HTTP 501 error: HTTP 501 Not Implemented for Recently contacted.

## How can I get rid of this Error?

We will disable this funcionality on murena.io; this will stop this notification and remove the Recently Contacted section from your phone.

To avoid another related issue when we do this (a 404 error), you may need to change some settings manually *if you are a user of a version lower than 1.0.0*. Typically this would happen if you're on /e/OS based on Android 9 or earlier. This manual deactivation works for all versions though.

## Steps for manual deactivation:

### 1. Open system settings

### 3. Tap Recently Contacted and Turn off the toggle

Congrats! Now, the recently contacted error notification will not bother you again, but the Recently Contacted section in Nextcloud app will stop working. This section can only be removed with an update to the app.
