# Link Murena Workspace with your computer

Connect your Murena Workspace to any desktop so your files, photos, and documents stay synchronized between device and cloud.

## Why link your PC?

Linking gives you quick access to the documents stored in Murena Workspace from both your phone and your desktop. Once the connection is in place, you can drag and drop files between the two environments and keep everything up to date.

## Ubuntu

1. Open **Settings → Online Accounts** and choose **NextCloud**.
2. Enter `murena.io` as the server, your full Murena ID (`username@murena.io` or `username@e.email`), and your password, then click **Connect**.
3. Close the confirmation screen and verify the new account appears under **Online Accounts** and as a link inside the Files app.
4. Copy files between the local folders and the Murena Workspace share; allow a few seconds for the network view to appear before accessing folders.
5. To stop syncing, either right-click the Murena Workspace link in the Files app and choose **Unmount** or remove the account from **Settings → Online Accounts → Remove account**.

## Windows

1. Download and install the Nextcloud desktop client from https://nextcloud.com (choose the Windows 8.1+ installer, accept the defaults, and restart when prompted).
2. Launch the client, click **Log in to your Nextcloud**, and enter `https://murena.io` when requested.
3. Authenticate through the browser pop-up, provide your Murena ID credentials, and grant access to the application.
4. Choose a local folder to sync, select virtual files or selective sync as desired, and wait for the initial sync to complete.
5. Open the synced folder to confirm it shows your Murena Workspace structure; changes propagate both ways.
