Gallery App - Image Timestamps Aren't Preserved

My Specs: OnePlus 5T - e OS 2.8-a14

Before I flashed e OS 2.8-a14 on my device, it was running OxygenOS 10. I also have a Samsung tablet, and I was recently transferring pictures back and forth between these devices and the timestamps on my images didn't change.

If I transfer images to my OP5T, e OS 2.8-a14 is not preserving the timestamps in the Gallery app.

On Stock Google ROMS from devices like Samsung, OnePlus, etc., I have always been able to transfer from one device to another and the timestamps don't change, and stay original.

In the past I've also plugged various stock android devices into my computers running Windows 10 to backup images to portable usb drives, and then at a later time copied the images back to the stock android devices, and the time stamps were all correct.

We really need to have a Gallery application that can maintain the timestamps, this is very important, and I hope this can be fixed.
