Soft Key + Bottom One Third of Screen Problems

So, after working around the Bliss Launcher issue (going to settings -> about phone -> contributors to launch the browser to download and install Open Launcher), I still have the soft key issue (where the back, home, and app selection menu don't work at the bottom of the screen). On top of this, about the bottom third of the screen doesn't work most of the time now. I was lucky that I found a moment that it did work so that I could enter my pin again so that I could get back into my phone. From what I've read, it seems that after android 5.1.1, the soft keys didn't work anymore. I'm going to try another OS to see if that fixes the soft key problem and I will report back.
