The correct vodafone NL APN profile is not loaded when installing a (e)SIM.
- **/e/OS version:** 3.7.1
- **Device model(s):** Fairphone 6 (likely not relevant)
- **Impacted Application:** APN
- **Affected application/URL:** n/a
- **Browser/client and version:** n/a
### **The problem**
When installing a SIM or eSIM from vodafone NL, the correct APN profile is not loaded. Instead, several other APN profiles appear that belong to unrelated providers, as shown in the screenshot. These APN profiles cause mobile data to fail when abroad. The only exception is the “hollandsnieuwe (type 2)” profile, which is almost identical to the vodafone NL APN profile. Hollandsnieuwe is a low‑budget provider operating on the vodafone NL network.
The incorrect APN profiles can be deleted, except for the two Chinese ones. These are greyed out and cannot be edited or removed.
Additionally, after entering a working APN manually, the device continues to display “vodafone NL” on the screen while roaming abroad, even though the actual connection is with the foreign network.

### **What I have tested**
- Installed a physical Vodafone NL SIM card (with a different phone number) in the phone. Result is the same.
- Installed my eSIM on a Pixel 5 running /e/OS 3.7.2. Same result.
- The same Pixel 5 normally uses a Swisscom SIM. That one shows only the correct Swisscom APN.
- My eSIM on a Pixel 8 with Google Android shows only the correct Vodafone NL APN.
