- /e/OS version: 3.7.1-a15-20260414608755-official-FP6 - Device model(s): Fairphone 6 - Impacted Application: ~"/e/OS Camera" - Affected application: Snapchat ## The problem The Fairphone is sometimes unable to access the camera, preventing the user from taking photos or videos. Step to reproduce the bug as it happen the most often for me : * Disable the camera access * Open Snapchat * Snapchat asks you to allow access to the camera : you deny the access * Swipe left or right to load the messages or the stories * Close Snapchat * Re-open Snapchat * Snapchat asks you to allow access to the camera : you now allow the access * The camera stays dark and you cannot take photos (or sometimes only completely black ones), even if you close Snapchat and open the default Camera app. After a while you can get an error like "cannot get access to the camera" * The camera work again after 1 minute or 2. Expected behaviour : the camera is functioning as soon as you allow the access.
