## The problem(s)
Irregularly, users of custom launchers like "Nova Launcher" see the system popup saying "Camera & mic enabled".
Another case also gets screen clicks that are not from the user and short touch unresponsiveness, both after unlocking the phone and being on the launcher (pre /e/OS/ 3.5 it mostly clicked in the left bottom corner, since 3.5 it clicks a little under the center of the screen). It opens apps/widgets placed on the launcher. I used the developer option "Pointer location" to see if it may be affected by my screen protector (official FP6 model) but the "Pointer location" feature does not show any movement! Seems to be software only then, I guess.
These problems persist since multiple /e/OS as well as "Nova Launcher" updates.
The "Camera & mic enabled" problem got a little better since /e/OS 3.5 I feel but it is far from gone. Another reports that using the flight-mode option for the FP6 hardware switch works consistently.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Use/Install "Nova Launcher" while having the FP6 switch action set to Camera/Mic
2. Do some daily business
3. Unlock phone
4. Randomly either get "Camera & mic enabled" problem or the "invisible click" problem

I am not 100% sure if this is an e/OS or "Nova Launcher" problem, but I do think I got the Switch problem to show up outside the launcher multiple times as well. I want to provide this feedback, especially because it is now persisting over multiple editions of e/OS and apps used.
Edit 1 (09.03.2026): **Currently there is not much evidence that this is limited to "Nova Launcher".** I am solely basing this upon the correlation in the linked forum post\[1\]. This could also just be dependent on some specific kind of right management, app type or whatever (I am guessing here)..
Edit 2 (19.03.2026): It does not seem to be limited to "Nova Launcher", I have now also had the same problem with:
* Opening Spotify App
* Switching to MSTeams App
* Opening Amazon App
