A notification arrives, the LED blinks, the notification appears in the notification area, but no sound. ## The problem **Steps to reproduce** Ha, you can't reproduce it and you can't predict when it will happen next time. But I have it for sure after 7...11 days of uptime. It was also a topic on 2.0 and 2.1, now I have it still on 2.2 and it happens on two (!) devices. I can't remember that it occured before 2.0. **What is the current behavior?** The configured notification sounds for SMS, Mail, Signal, plugging or unplugging a USB cable ... are not audible anymore. I can't say if they are not found or not played or played quietly or whatever, I can't hear them in the ordinary phone speaker. I'm not sure about the phone ringtone because I don't get phone calls very often. Update: When it happens and the sounds are really not audible anymore selecting a sound file in the Settings app is still possible. There I still hear all my sounds, regardless of which one I choose. **What is the expected correct behavior?** Every configured sound should be reliably played. ## Technical informations Meanwhile I placed a .nomedia file in my 45GB music library to relieve the indexer. My music player is not based on that. So the amount of indexed music files should really be manageable, I have not more or stranger files than others. ## Solutions **Workaround** The only workaround I see is: reboot.
