Editing contact details in ecloud // error
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new contact in the Android smartphone app
- Add an address in the address section with street and no., postcode and city, as well as a county name separated by a comma - all in a single line (example: Breitenbachstrasse 24, 14123 Berlin, Germany"
- Open the contact in the web backend
Expected behaviour
- (As there is only one address line in the Android app,, I would expect that the software recognize, street, postcode, city and country on its own, otherwise I'd expect to type in the address details in a mask that resembles the one in the web backend. But this is not the point of this issue)
- I would expect to be able to edit the contact that I created on my Android device.
Actual behaviour
Instead, the address line appears as I typed it previously plus backslashes address (example: "Breitenbachstrasse 24, 14123 Berlin, Germany") and I am not able to modify the contact.
Attempting that, I first receive an error message (see picture below), and when clicking on the little arrow as indicated, I get the circular progress indicator, turning eternally. The only solution I see - for now - is to delete the contact and recreate it in the web backend.
In case, you consider this to he rather a NextCloud issue, please provide me with secer installation details.
