Single/Double Tap to Wake is broken on Poco F5

The problem

Single or double tap to wake only works in 5 seconds after locking. After that period it does not work.

Steps to reproduce

Enable single and/or double tap to wake. Lock to go to AOD. Immediately try feature and observe it working. Go to AOD again. Wait 10 seconds. Try waking device up via feature. Observe it not working.
