I use the Android "Device Controls" features in combination with a self-hosted Home Assistant Instance to quickly control smart home devices.

I also use a separate User for work stuff. Whenever I switch accounts the Device Controls I have set up get reset, and I have to re-add everything.

Steps to reproduce

  • Add a home assistant tile in the device controls
  • switch user to "work"
  • switch back to "owner"
  • no more device controls set up
