Incoming calls go directly to voicemail on Fairphone 6 with Free eSIM

The problem

All incoming calls go directly to voicemail. The phone does not ring at all. I only receive a missed call notification after the caller hangs up.

The issue started after switching from a Fairphone 4 to a Fairphone 6. The same carrier (Free, France) and same eSIM line were previously working without any issue on the Fairphone 4 with /e/OS too. The problem occurs consistently for all incoming calls. Outgoing calls work normally. Mobile data and SMS also work as expected.

I have already checked:

• Airplane mode: Disabled
• Do Not Disturb: Disabled
• Call forwarding: Disabled

I have already tried:

• Rebooting the device
• Reinstalling / re-provisioning the eSIM
• Checking call forwarding settings
