/e/OS Music: cannot play .m4a files: play button <-> pause button; have to open with Music in Files app

Cannot play .m4a files in Music app

Pressing the play button just causes it to switch rapidly to the pause button and back again, over and over, until you press it again.

The progress bar remains at 00:00, and there is no sound.

.mp3 files play okay.

Workaround

Have to visit the song file using the Files App, and 'open with' Music, which works as expected.
