FP6 e/OS/3.4 installed paid apps’ licenses NOT found/recognized

• Impacted Application: multiple previously purchased/licensed and reinstalled apps

On a new Murena Fairphone6, OS v3.4/official, previously purchased paid apps from Google Play Store (e.g. OsmAnd+) fail license checks, and do not ‘restore purchases’.
All such apps appear as currently ‘unpurchased’.

This has been a very long-standing issue.
