FP6: Video recording not possible with GCam port (worked before updating to /e/OS 3.1.4)

The problem
I think since updat to /e/OS 3.1.4 Video recording with the named GCam-port ist not working anymore (I think it did work prior updating to 3.1.4).When switching to the video mode in GCam the screen shows a frizen picture and if video recording button is pressed shortly after an error message appears “video could not be saved” and “log save to ….” and GCam app crashes. The recorded file seems to be corrupted.
Video recording with built in /e/OS-Camera app is working.
Any idea, what the reason is? Is there still work in progress to get feature parity with FPOS at FP6? It is no some months passed by since FP6 release :-/
