some apps' default language is English instead of the system's default

The problem

After updating to 3.1.1 some apps' default language is English instead of the system's default

Affected apps are at least

• Bitwarden
• Brave

Since this behaviour appeared immediately after the update and affects two different apps (at least), I suppose something it's not working in how eOS expose the language setting or where the apps gets this setting.
