"Do not Disturb" ignores Event Schedules

  • /e/OS version: 3.0.4-a14-20250709507533-community-FP5
  • Device model(s): Fairphone 5

The problem

An Android feature I used to consider useful, is the Do Not Disturb schedules. I have a calendar on my Nextcloud instance (synced with DAVx5) with meetings and classes. On my old (Google) Android install, this calendar automatically triggered DND mode. On /e/OS this feature is shown in the Do Not Disturb settings, but is not working.

Steps to reproduce

  • Add a calendar to your phone
  • Settings > Sound and vibration > Do Not Disturb
  • Schedules > Add more > Event
  • Enter a schedule name
  • "During events for" : select your calendar from a list
  • "Use schedule" should be toggled ON
  • "Where reply is": Yes, Maybe or Not replied
  • "Do Not Disturb behaviour": Use default settings

This should result in the phone going in DND-mode (showing the icon in the status bar) whenever an event in the calendar comes up. However, nothing happens.
