On FP5 running /e/OS v2.8, application update fails with expired token message

My device was not able to update applications. When I trigger the update, it informs me that the token expired, whereas in the background it starts updating.

I expected the application to update without any token error message.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Attempt to update an application on the FP5 running /e/OS v2.8.
  2. Observe the token expired message.
  3. Check that the update is still performed in the background.
