Murena device does not transfer data to Mac via USB

The problem

When the device is connected to a MAC, the connection is recognised and it is possible to charge the device, but although the option to transfer via USB is enabled, it does not work and when the option is chosen for the USB to be controlled by the connected device, it does not show any signs of working.
