Camera image freezes up when using certain apps

Revolut banking app uses camera to take a selfie in combination with facial recognition to make certain upgrades.

Camera image freezes each time. Making it impossible to use the Revolut app.

I upgrade Revolut app software regularly and reported this issue to Revolut customer service. There they said everything was fine and has to do with the OS.

Same issue with ELEMNT Wahoo Fitness app : camera freezes while trying to scan qr-code.

My phone: Fairphone FP4 Android-version 14 /e/os version 2.7-u-20250109460370-official-FP4

All app-rights to use the camera are switched on. Even tried to lift privacy features with no result.
