Functional problems with the native audio player
v2.6.3-t Google Pixel 5
The native audio player, which is automatically used when playing an audio on the File manager or the downloads of some browsers (Fennec), does not work as expected.
It does play audio, but being it just a dialog, users face these problems:
- No background reproduction: reproduction stops and resumes if you exit the dialog, whether going to other app or just tapping outside the dialog.
- Too small interface: the reproduction timebar is smaller than it could potentially be, and it is not easy to change the reproduction position accurately.
- No time displayed: there isn't any way to know how long is the audio or which moment are you on.
- Cannot change the volume while the screen is off.
The easiest solution to this problem would be to use Music player as the default, native audio player.
