Deleting blocked numbers in the message (SMS) not possible/leads to crash

Summary

When trying to delete a Number from the list of blocked numbers on the message/SMS App, then the number is not deleted and the menu is closed abruptly. Sometimes the crash reporter opens.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Precondition: Blocked numbers stored in message/SMS App

  1. Open message/SMS App
  2. Open Burger menu
  3. Select blocked
  4. Try to delete a number from the list by pressing the X behind the entry

What is the current behavior?

  • The list closes
  • When re-entering the list, the number is still there.
  • Sometimes the system provides a message stating that the app was repeatedly closed

What is the expected correct behavior?

The list with blocked numbers should still be open. The deleted number should not be listed, any more.

Workaround

It is possible to unblock numbers in the phone App, but SMS might still be blocked.
