App Lounge do not allow the installation of some apps

  • /e/ version: 2.6-U-official, 2.7-beta-U-official, 2.7-beta.2-U-official
  • Device model(s): Google Pixel Tablet (tangorpro)
  • Developer mode enabled: yes
  • Device rooted: no
  • Trackers blocker enabled: yes

Summary

Since I received my tablet, App Lounge did not allow to install some apps.

Example of affected apps :

Google Play Apps : Meetic, Tinder
F-Droid Apps : Mull

Other apps are affected, I didn't list them all.

The problem

  1. Open App Lounge
  2. Login with a Google account
  3. Try to install one of the affected apps

What is the current behavior?

The app is listed, the download happens, but the installation fails with no error showed and the install button shows "Retry".

What is the expected correct behavior?

The App installs without problem

Solutions

Workaround

Install Neo-Store/F-Droid. Install of affected apps works fine. Note that Aurora Store do not find affected apps in the Google Play repository. Maybe there is no compatible builds for that device...

Note

My FP5 (2.6-U-community and 2.7-beta.2-U-community builds) seem to be affected on a few other Apps, but not the same one. I need to test it further.
