App Lounge - Category contents from Google Play Store are wrong

Summary

When I take a look in a category in App Lounge, which is not "Open Source" or "PWA", its content is wrong. The content is not the same as at the Play Store (e.g., like here) and after 20 apps App Lounge loads the next elements of the category, but they are the same as the first 20 apps.

  1. Start App Lounge
  2. Go to the tap Categories
  3. Choose a category, which is not "PWA" or "open source" e.g., Finance
  4. Scroll down the first 20 apps to load the next apps

What is the current behavior?

  • The 1. app is the same as the 21. app, 2. app is the same as the 22. app and so on.
  • The listed apps are not the same as at the Play Store (o.

What is the expected correct behavior?

  • The list does not contain repeations.
  • It shows a suitable list from the Play Store (or should it use another source?).

I recognized that the list on the top of the website also is an endless loop of 20 apps. Maybe App Lounge should not use this list as source anymore?
