Mail doesn't start at boot so no notifications
Hi, I recently switched to Mail from K-9.
But when I look at active apps just after a reboot (in developer settings), K-9 is active but not Mail. Mail stays active until next reboot only once I manually open it, meaning it can't search for new mails.
Of course every settings are the same in K-9 and Mail (especially all synchronisation and notifications settings).
What I did with K-9 :
- disable battery optimisation in Battery settings
- make sure "Start at boot" and "keep alive" were switched on in Trust settings.
What I did with Mail : Nothing because it's a system app so battery optimisation isn't available/editable and nothing appears in Trust.
(Synchronisation setting in Account settings is turned off, but it has noting to do anyway, it wouldn't change anything if I turn it on. I don't have added my /e/ account to my phone.)
So I have to stay on K-9.
