application history button (Anwendungsverlauf) does not work

Summary

Application history ("Anwendungsverlauf" in german) is not available.

The problem

Any press on the app history button does nothing, either using default square button nor through custom setting (e.g. long press on "backward" button). Nevertheless, "previous app" is still available through long press on square button. This happens since /e/os 2.0 release on my phone ; and remains within 2.1 and 2.2 versions.
