Fairphone 5: 6×6 schema dots are too tightly packed in landscape mode

  • /e/ version: 2.1-t-20240603406607-stable-FP5
  • Device model(s): Fairphone 5
  • Developer mode enabled: yes
  • Device rooted: yes
  • Trackers blocker enabled: yes

Summary

In landscape mode (= with lockscreen rotation ON), the 6×6 schema dots too tightly packed.

The problem

  1. Turn on lock screen rotation
  2. Turn on 6×6 schema lock
  3. Turn on fingerprint unlock
  4. Turn on emergency contact on lock screen
  5. Lock the screen in landscape mode

What is the current behavior?

When trying to unlock the phone in landscape mode, the schema dots are too tightly packed (more tighly than in portrait mode) because of the fingerprint sensor indicator, "Trace the schema" instruction string, and "Emergency" button being placed above/below the schema.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The schema dots should use as much screen space as in portrait mode, with the other UI elements being on the side (except maybe the fingerprint sensor indicator).
