App Lounge fails signing in Google account: 404

App Lounge: Trying to login with Google account to install paid app but don't get a Google login screen
The problem
I installed /e/ on a nice One Plus 5T. Works great, except for App Lounge's “Proceed to Google Login”, results in:
" [Google logo]
404. That is an error.
Requested URL isn’t found on this server.
That is all we know.
"(all in Dutch so english may vary)
Steps to reproduce
- Open App lounge
- Do "Login with Google"
- Do in popup "proceed to Google Login"
- Get "404. This is an error (...)"
no Google login screen
