Fairphone 4 does not charge with USB-C - USB-C cable

  • /e/ version: 1.21.1-s-20240325389527-stable-FP4
  • Device model(s): Fairphone 4
  • Developer mode enabled: no
  • Device rooted: no

Summary

Phone does not charge with USB-C - USB-C cable. USB-A - USB-C cables do work.

This used to work earlier, but broke at some some point when the phone was on /e/ 1.20. I am not certain if the 1.20 update caused this, or if I was initially able to charge on 1.20.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

  1. Ensure phone as less than 100 % battery.
