Rhode dev build - fingerprint sensor does not work

The device does not offer fingerprint sensor in security settings.

1. navigate to Settings -> Security -> Screen lock
2. provide current PIN
3. check the list of provided lock methods

What is the current behavior?

Only 5 methods are listed:

• none
• swipe
• pattern
• pin
• password

What is the expected correct behavior?

I would expect one more method - fingerprint

Workaround

Tested with LineageOS 21 for Rhode and there the fingerprint sensor works OK.

Possible fixes

Backport the fingerprint support from LineageOS?
