Summary
MS Apps and 2FA Fail
I really need my MS teams and MS outlook/outlook lite, but have tried just about everything I can think of to get these apps to work. I can authenticate using my company credentials, but we require 2FA using DUO app or MS Authenticator app. Once I enter my password, it seems I get authenticated, but never see the DUO screen, but an error message from the teams/outlook app something went wrong. I believe it is somehow linked to the 2FA requirement, because I can setup and use the apps with another business account that does NOT require 2FA. I have teams and outlook working on a standard android phone with 2FA, so I know it is something e/OS related. Any help would be appreciated!
Steps to reproduce
Install Teams or Outlook or Outlook Lite. Attempt to add a biz account that requires 2FA.
Must have either DUO authenticator app or MS authenticator app installed. Attempting to add and after initial credentials are accepted, on triggering the 2FA client app, a "Looks like somethng went wrong" message.
The account should be created, but is NOT created.
There are no work arounds, unless you can turn off 2FA.
